The National Policy against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) of 2011 emphasizes the need for GBV interventions across all social, economic, and political sectors. Additionally, the Prime Minister's Order N°001/03 of 11/01/2012 mandates all government institutions to actively engage in preventing and responding to GBV by taking necessary actions. The National Gender Policy of 2021 re-echoed the need to ensure that women and men are free from any form of gender-based violence and discrimination for equitable and sustainable development
